Hi there! Here looking to meet people and travel, to fill your belly with delicious vegan food (I've surprised even the most carnivorous of my friends), share the burden of a bottle of red wine, soak up anything you want to share and conduct a yoga class (relaxation guaranteed, enlightenment is not).

My first degree, in biology and psychology, reflected my deep-rooted interest in the human body and nervous system. In an interesting digression, I found myself in London armed with a Bachelor of Science on the path to becoming a corporate lawyer. There, in my spare time, I found yoga.

What began as an escape from the fast-pace of London life soon became a daily discipline and then a career in its own right. After training at the Byron Yoga Centre in Australia (with John Oglive and Maria Kirsten), I taught in studios in Byron Bay and Melbourne, before moving back to my home city - Amsterdam. The enjoyment and fulfillment I gained from offering accessible yoga classes solidified my decision to focus fully on teaching.

I am constantly looking to further my understanding of anatomy and physiology, while also deepening my knowledge on the interplay of the mind and body.
