I would describe myself as someone very European. I was born in France to an English mother and German father. I love languages and I am actively learning Spanish at the moment and love any opportunity to practise!
I am friendly, easy-going and a positive person and love meeting new people. I have been described by a friend as a 'compulsive friend maker' which I think is a compliment!
I'm realising a dream I've had for a long time to travel around South America and am going to be there from October 2010 onwards! I will hopefully get to master the Spanish language there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first discovered Couch Surfing whilst living with a lovely couple who are active couch surfers and received many people!
When I was there, I would show people around London if I could!
I was very fortunate to meet and stay with amazing people in South America whilst travelling and also through couch surf meetings.
I am unable to offer a couch at the moment as I am still travelling, but am hoping that I will be able to do later in the future!

Interests

I love languages, speak fluent french and english, learning spanish and once I am fluent in that language, German is next!
I like to exercise and play sports and have tried my hand at a few different ones: volleyball, handball, basketball, football, skiing, hiking, climbing, karate as well as running, swimming, scubadiving etc... I have done a half marathon and would love to do a triathlon next!
I'm passionate about music. I love going to see live music and discovering new artists. I like most kinds, but generally anything guitar based (acoustic or electric) is a winner!
Travel is of course something I love to do. Been travelling across South America these last 8 months, and I have been very fortunate to realise a dream I've had for many years to go there. There is so much of the world I have yet to explore and I can't wait to go travel more!
Friends and family are very important to me. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't because of them. I love meeting new people too and making new friends from all over the world. I believe you can learn something from everyone and everyone has a story.
I also have all the usual hobbies like reading and cinema and like all genres except for horror!

Mostly anything that is guitar based, electric or acoustic. I enjoy all genres and love discovering new bands/artists and going to see live music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have recently done a skydive which was a dream I had for a long time and enjoyed every minute of it!
I've always wanted to travel South America and have just spent 8 amazing months there!
