ABOUT ME
Hi,
I'm Isabelle, I was born in Dendermonde, went to primary school and grew up in Opdorp after which I returned to Dendermonde. After that I did a couple of years of law school in Namur. Consequently I studied European Studies in Maastricht, and did a master's degree in Comparative and International Politics at KU Leuven.
Currently I am working as a scientific researcher at the Public Governance Institute, linked to the University of Leuven.
I do research into the transposition of EU Directives in subnational entities (regions).
I'm practically always in a good mood and enjoy a good laugh, a good beer and good times with friends. I enjoy going on little daytrips in the weekends, movies, lazy days in the sun and from time to time a good party.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think couchsurfing is a great way to travel around without blinders. Meeting new people and discovering the little charming places and hotspots turns a holiday in an interesting and eye- and mind- opening experience.
Unfortunately I don't have the possibility at the moment to host. But if you re interested in coming to Mechelen you can always send me a message and I'll pass on some nice adresses and places to visit.
