ABOUT ME

Smiling face :) I'm from Quebec, where people are naturally welcoming and friendly. I live in South of France since 1999 and I try to go back to my homeland once every 1 1/2 or 2 years to see how my family expands !
I'm trying to feel great evewhere I go, no matter what (not always easy, but do my best !). I like to meet new people and beautifull places. I enjoy living in the green, but appreciate visiting bigger citied and party once in a while.
I was raised with in mix of French & North American way of living. I appreciate respect, honesty, calm.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm very positive and open-minded. Buddhist and "nature" paths suit me well, with a spoonfull of smiles and laughs.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had some nice experiences with couchsurfing ! Lots of synchronicity and discoveries, meeting wonderful people and wishing to meet more !
In the past (before CS) I had some nice travelling experiences around the world, often staying at newly met people's home and I appreciated it.

I really like this way of traveling, rather than staying on my (our) own in an hotel, hardly knowing where to go in a newly visited place.

Intereses

I practice Shiatsu, Do In, Qi Gong, Yoga, Tandava and mindfulness dynamic meditation.
I like to hike in wild and quiet places. Once in a while I enjoy horse back riding in the wild !
Asian culture and food !
Cooking with a bunch of friends, gardening, photography...

Música, películas y libros

different kinds of music (ethnic, world music, lounge/ambient, jazzy...). I'm reading few books mostly for my work purpose and books about spiritual wisdoms and awareness opening. I don't appreciate violent or weird psycho movies before going to bed, cause can't sleep after while !

Algo increíble que he hecho

At about 19 y.o. spent 3 months to cross Sahara desert with a photographer friend (assisting him for photos) in his Toyota truck.
1991 - 1 year trip around the world.
A tandem parachute jump in my twenties (great experience to fight fear !) and my 2nd tandem jump Dec 24th 2017 above a wonderfull blue lagoon in New Caledonia !

learn : There was a lot of things I did like to learn about, though I'm now picking what's good for me and interesting too ! Don't want to full up my brain with useless stuff :}
