About Me
My friends will probably tell you I'm a dreamer, laid back, easily distracted, silly and really easy, I will pretty much adjust to any situation.
I always had this dream of living abroad for a period of time so when I got the chance to do my internship in Sydney, Australia, I flew down and lived and worked there for six months. After this I decided to fly to New Zealand where I was hitchhiking and wild camping for about six weeks. This has been one of the most amazing periods of my life. I knew I wanted to travel more so after my graduation I booked a flight to South America, and here I am!
I can´t tell you what I love so much about travelling, all I know is that I can´t seem to stop.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While I was hitching through New Zealand I met this awesome guy named Phil who found us on the side of the road in the rain, and he put me and my friend up in his schoolcamp-building, incl pool, horses, gave us dinner and and a hitch the next day. We didn´t know how to thank him and when we asked him, his response was;
Just do the same for someone else one day.
I see couchsurfing as so much more than just "using" someone's couch as a place to crash. The great thing about this initiative is having locals to teach you about their country/city/culture and show you the inner hot spots! You would be silly not to take advantage of that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming with wild dusky dolphins in the middle of the ocean in New Zealand has been an experience I will not easily forget. Also working with Howler Monkeys and walking a Puma in an animal sanctuary in Bolivia have been amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love meeting people from other cultures, exchanging experiences about life, cities, people, languages, travels..
I'm open to language exchanges, I'd love to be more fluent in Spanish! Maybe I can teach some English or Dutch in exchange :)
