About Me

I'm a culture and nature lover that enjoys meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences with them. I've travelled in South America, Europe and the US but haven't covered half of the places I want yet. I discovered my passion for traveling when I was 14, travelled by myself for the first time and haven't stopped hitting the road since then. I've lived in different parts of Brazil and met all kinds of different personalities which made me open my mind to the world even more. I've hosted international students from my university for a while and couldn't feel happier when I discovered Couchsurfing through them.

Currently, I'm a law student and I'm amazed with politics, history and geography. I went for a major in International Relations for two and a half years before I switched it to law and this previous experience gave me an incredible basis on what I'm studying now. I also worked for a worldwide non profit organization for a year called AIESEC that promotes volunteering exchange programs mainly in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and South American countries. I met a lot of people and got closer to their cultures through the organization.

Besides traveling, I'm really interested in photography, astrology and art in general. I love music and I sing and play the piano and guitar. Painting, writing, reading, hiking, cooking, trying different wines and learning languages are also part of the things I like doing most. I'm really easy going and open minded to trying new stuff and I wanna share all of this with my hosts, guest and all people around me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Went to Marco das Três Fronteiras in the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay - so basically was in three different places and three different countries at the same time;

- Spent the whole day/night in Ipanema Beach in Rio and watched the sunset/sunrise from Pedra do Arpoador while people clapped for it;

- Traveled in a bus for 26 hours to the south of Brazil with friends while playing guitar and singing inside the bus;

- Rode a hot air balloon for the first time in the coast of England;

- Went to Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado - the highest suspension bridge in the world right above a cliff.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach languages, South American History, International Law & Politics from my view based on what I constantly study, Music and all about the Brazilian Culture.
I would like to learn new things with them as well and discuss topics that interests both. I'm always open to learning and sharing in general

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share adventures, personal experiences and have a good talk. Besides this, I will also cook typical Brazilian food and show them as much of the culture I can and hopefully also learn more about their own culture.
