Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was inspired to join after meeting a man who spoke very fondly of his Couchsurfing experiences. I am drawn to the idea of directly experiencing a local's life rather than the detached, liminal aspect of lodgings.
I hope to meet new people as well as share my own life with others.
