Overview
About Me
Hi there! I am Isaiah, but most just call me Izzy. As a seasonal worker, I spend most my summers in Seward, Alaska, nestled just within Kenai Fjords National Park. Over the years, I've worn many hats, including being a snowboard instructor, barista, carpenter, and next, a deckhand and housekeeper.
I'm a lifelong student with a perpetual hunger for meaning and understanding. I enjoy delving into a variety of topics, and sometimes I can't help but geek out about them. I spent a semester studying aerospace engineering at UTK, but I haven't made up my mind about whether or not I'll return.
While I'm originally from Knoxville, I consider the entire planet to be my hometown. As a couchsurfer, I'm excited to meet new people and discover the unique qualities of different places. So, if you're looking for a curious, adventurous, and open-minded host, I'm your person!

Teach, Learn, Share
I’m a fairly seasoned guitarist and a very experienced barista and am always happy to share what knowledge I have! I also used to work as a snowboard instructor, so catch me on the slopes for some free lessons. Would love to improve my Español, so bonus points if you can help with that!
I am also eager to crew on a sailboat soon as it has long been a dream of mine to sail around the world!
