About Me

I live in Dallas currently. Trying to continue traveling, learning, and experiencing new areas and ways of life despite now holding a full-time job. Due to lack of time, I now love to host others and have the world come to me instead. Being outdoors is where I usually like end up (when the heat/cold is bearable)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When it comes to hosting, I prefer requests that are for non-business reasons and that are not especially long (more than a few days).

Have had some of my most amazing memories and have meet some of the kindest people on this platform. Enjoy being able to host and be hosted within the CS community. Always am grateful for the opportunity to meet and learn from people with different experiences. Also love to host people who find themselves in my area to add some spice to my regular routine!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite types of music are classical, rock/blues/2000s alternative, and hip hop/rap, but I haven’t found any music I really don’t like. Beethoven, Mahler, Tchaikovsky, The Rolling Stones, Kendrick Lamar, Led Zeppelin, Lynard Skynard, Jay-Z, Bob Dylan, Muddy Waters… just to throw a few names out

Movies: historical films, Alfred Hitchcock, Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, foreign pictures, independent films, the bond movies, many many more... I try to convince other young people that old movies are still good lol

Books: I really like to read but am sometimes bad at making time to do so. I tend to like the classic novels more than anything modern. John Steinbeck and Dostoyevsky are frequent reads. Lots of Russian literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran the Grand Canyon down and up in a day

Teach, Learn, Share

Can always take guests on a walk through downtown Dallas and make sure you catch the best sights.

A safe place to sleep, shower, food, towels, etc. are always available.

I enjoy learning about history, economics, and the law. Always happy to share what I know about these subjects here in the US to whoever may be interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enjoy seeing and hearing about what others are passionate about. Honest, genuine connection is what I always try to provide.

Always happy to help with cleaning, yard work, actual work, cooking, or however I can lend a hand.
