About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live the dream!

ABOUT ME

I am a visual storyteller with a passion for adventure working with both film and still photography in the Durango Colorado area. I like to have a good time and meet people to learn from their experience as well as share mine.

PHILOSOPHY

If I only scrape a living, at least it will be a living worth scraping. Even if their is no future in it, at least it is a present worth remembering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed occasionally and hope to become more involved all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first surfed on a couch while in France after getting picked up in the middle of the night while hitch hiking. An extremely nice couple let us stay with them and recommended that me and my traveling friend signed up as soon as we could!

Interests

I spend my time trying to capture the world I live in as well as the people I meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all of Christopher Nolan's films and any book by Edward Abbey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the top of a peak in the french alps as the fog broke around me and mountains appeared and disappeared in the distance. This was the most beautiful moment of my life in the middle of the best day of my life.

Standing next to the presidential sculptures at Mt. Rushmore in the middle of a winter night. This was the most unnerving experience of my life. The scale was so massive and there was so much history in that moment.

Photographing a riot in Mexico City that was caused by a city block being set on fire while a car crashed to avoid the rioters. It was the most chaotic scene i have ever witnessed.
