About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just moved to nyc, and wanna make some friends

ABOUT ME

Im an easy-going kinda guy, and try to just go with the flow whenever I travel. I can be shy sometimes, but I love meeting people and seeing the world. I like to get out of the touristy areas and see how the locals live when I travel, so I think cs is awesome for that.

I love the study of languages. Its one of the main reasons I love international travel so much. If you want to tell me or teach me your language, Id love to hear it. Im currently working on Russian and Spanish right now.

PHILOSOPHY

Make every moment count.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So I arrived in Vienna at 6:00 on the train, with nowhere to stay. It was off-season, so I figured Id have no problem finding a hostel. Man was I wrong. I tried both Wombats, got online and looked at 6 other hostels, tried two hotels, everything was booked except for the Palace Hostel, which is way far outside of town.

I eventually gave in, wrote down the directions to Palace, and started heading that way. But when it was time ot get on Bus 46B, I got on tram 46.

Randomly, I heard some guy and girl chatting in English behind me, talking about hostels. I asked for help, and Verena pointed out that I was heading in exactly the opposite direction, and that the hostel was at least 20 minutes away. She then offered her couch to me, and asked if I had heard of CS. Turns out, the guy she was with was a couchsurfer staying with her that night.

After an awesome night at the club, and a lovely couch to sleep on, I was hooked. I stayed with a friend of hers, Marco, the next night, and so here I am on CS!
