CURRENT MISSION
Not to count the days, but to make the days count
ABOUT ME
I love life and take pleasure in the little things. Very much a generalist, it is hard to find something that I am not interested in be it art, music, dance, science, fitness, food, the list goes on... Among my favorite things are exchanging stories and finding out what makes both people and places unique. The things you'll see when you wander off the beaten path.. Happy travels!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately at this present time I can't host but I would love to meet new people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am relatively new to couchsurfing so I have yet to really participate but the concept sounds fantastic. And I have met couchsurfers through friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - where to begin? I appreciate all music except country and heavy metal. Live music is the top of my list, particularly classical or jazz.
Movies - Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Books - Lately a lot of business and psychology
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tons of stories but some travelling highlights:
-Spontaneously deciding to go camping and ending up on the side of the mountain without a car or cell service. The view was absolutely breathtaking. It doesn’t get much better than sitting beneath a brilliant starry night on a mountain by a campfire with excellent company – Canada
-Staying with locals, cooking typical Jamaican cuisine, climbing a waterfall (Dunn’s Falls), and attending a Nine-night. Things you just don’t see if you don’t venture beyond the resort - Jamaica
-Deciding after 20 minutes of experience on a catamaran that the nearby town of Ocho Rios was a worthy destination and venturing off on my own to said town. I quickly learned that the reefs were protecting the area from ocean waves as my boat started to tip back and forth at steep angles. Fearing for my life and worried that sharks might eat me (haha a little irrational fear), I managed to turn the boat around and head back to safety only to have one of the attendents come zipping out in a motorboat to save me baywatch style – Jamaica
-Swimming in the Great Barrier Reef, playing at the Sydney Olympics - Australia
Teach, Learn, Share
Share good company
-I have been learning a lot about how to take care and disassemble a motorcycle the last couple weeks so I can share this newfound knowledge
