Overview
About Me
Currently, I'm set to backpack parts of Southeast Asia.
I am a body without an aim. I personify aimlessness and nihilism. Yet at the same time a positive outlook towards the meaningless of it all.
I came across Couchsurfing through a TED talk given by Tom from Croatia. And, the idea fascinated me. It gave me the opportunity to meet new people and gain loads of new experiences.
I use it, not very often, because honestly, mostly I forget I have this amazing option available to interact with the local area in a more personal immersive fashion. But, whenever I do, I am reminded of the power of this community. Power used here with a positive connotation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am just looking for people who would have a little spare time to spare for this lost wanderer. Even a small meeting is often enough, a little advice on how to go about in a place where you don't know anything and might miss out on some great experiences.
For now, I'm not able to host and I really miss that. Always a lot of new faces and stories and perspectives. A lot to be shared with them. Keeps the place lively and life moving along even while stationary, with loads of memories.
Music, Movies, and Books
A Clockwork Orange, a lot of Philip K Dick. Robert Pirsig's Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and Lila.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked hand-to-mouth across India for 15months.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - Guitar and if you have drums, I can teach you those too,
Learn - Any insight I'm given, about the world or the people, I receive it humbly and eagerly. Which often happens when people hear I'm lost in this world without any means or resources to sustain myself.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Pretty much anything I have or can do.
Life Experiences, Music, stories, my personal philosophy, which to be very honest, is probably not of any use.
Can share household duties and help them with any work if I'm skilled enough for it.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bhutan, India, Nepal
Countries I’ve Lived In
