About Me

In short - Easy going communication student who loves smell of fresh printed stuff and chocolate :)

I adore to cook and bake for family and friends. And they say that I'm good in it :D

************************************************************
Currently in Wroclaw (Poland) as an exchange student :)
*************************************************************
I've took part in student politics and activism for years and during that period I've met a lot of interesting people and learned great things.

With my best friend in my hometown I organize an free festival of classical music for young performers "Dunavska sonata". It is held every summer under open sky on the coast of second's longest river in Europe - Danube.

I fluently speak English and a little bit of Spanish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know new places and different cultures, meet new interesting people from all around the world and of course - practise my English. But my budget is limited so this can be great solution for both of things. :)
Also I like making friends and I can offer at least my company for anyone who come to Novi Sad.
(I still can't accept guests 'cause I'm living with my mother and three little kids)

Music, Movies, and Books

I have really crazy music taste. It goes from Serbian folk (old-town) and etno music, rock'n'roll, pop... to classical music and jazz. It's all about my mood and vibe that I need in that moment.

Unfortunaly I'm not an active reader anymore... but I love reading and my favourite author is Ivo Andric. But beside of novels around three years ago I discovered a poetry :)
And at the end: I am a huge Harry Potter fan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've stared to work as a journalist on my second year of studies, and in age of 21 I've published an investigative story about homeless people from personal perspective - I've walked around my city for few days as a poor, dirty, hungry girl searching for some food or piece of old bread from of citizens or restaurants.... and then I published a reportage about that experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to teach you everything I know :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you my hometown and introduce you with amazing serbian cuisine. You will have to try rakia and crafted beer in my favourite bar.

But then again I can give you some guitar lessons for beginers, share with you my PR and media skills... or historical facts about a region I'm coming from (Balkan).

I could teach you some basics of serbian language (I don't know why people first want to learn bad words xD), and even how to write your name in Cyrillic... exotic isn't it? :D
I can share with you storiss about my country, culture and national history.
