Overview
About Me
I am a Chilean teacher, and I have decided to come to Africa to assist schools with teaching practices that address the real needs of the children. I lived in Kenya for a year and a half and now I'm in South Africa until December of 2017. I do all of this work with and NGO called Educafrica.
I like to travel, to meet local people and go to local places, where real people are going around with their lives. I love to get filled with the local culture of a place, to talk over a beer and to dance.
I look forward to meet new people and new places!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's a true way of knowing new people who are part of the culture of the country that you go to, that know how things work and that will shoe you more than just the touristic side of the city.
Meeting new people, showing them what you do and helping them around sounds pretty cool to me.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of movies, except horror ones (can't sleep after watching them!)
I am a big book lover, all types of books, as long as they hook me up. I have read the classics, the historic, the education-related, the best sellers and the idiotic books, and as long as the story is interesting I can read anything and everything.
With music I am pretty chilled, I like Jorge Drexler (very cool Uruguayan dude), Dspatch, Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz.
