I am Isi (23) and I am from southern Spain, Córdoba (Andalusia). I have studied Translation and Interpreting (Bachelor) and in mid October I will be done with my masters degree in specialized Translation.

Last year, I worked as a Spanish professor in the US (at a college in Kansas City) while doing my masters degree. I have lived abroad before, I lived during my Erasmus year in Hannover. In October I will start to work at an Obschule around Leipzig so I will move out to Leipzig in September (29) . In addition, I will be also taking German and Translation courses at Leipzig University.

I LOVE to travel, I have been to 24 countries and I love to know new cultures, people, traditions and languages. I have shared a flat with people from many different countries: Morocco, Germany, Japan, France, Taiwan, China , Greece and, of course, Spain.

I do not like people who discriminate others or who do not respect others' opinions or point of view. I like people who are tolerant.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just created my couchsurfing profile but I used it before as a hoster and as a traveller but I used it through my friend's and flatmates profile.

I am going by myself to Leipzig and It was impossible for me to get an apartment there from Spain. I thought It would be a great idea to use couch surfing for some days while I get an apartment in Leipzig. I think Couch surfing is a GREAT oportunity to know local people and to get familiar with Leipzig's lifestyle. As soon as I get an apartment I would love to start to host people, since I made great international friends when I hosted some people.

I love very diverse kinds of music: flamenco, Pop from Spain and from around the world, techno, reggaeton, reggae, and so on.

I love cartoons movies (in love with Pocahontas hahahaha) and films with a historical background.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been travelling for 28 days in a row as a backpacker, that means: sleep wherever, eat whatever and travel with any kind of transportation.
