ABOUT ME

I've been working as a painter/decorator and doing odd jobs in construction to save for my current trip. Before that I studied architecture at university and before that I was on a gap year in Peru working in the Andes and learning tradition dance and cajon. I played the cajon in a band for a few years, and I write songs on the guitar.
Last summer I worked on a small island in Maine learning how to keep bees and fish for lobster.
Before that I was in India, studying at an international college for 2 years. There I did medical clown in the local village, taught art, put on plays and choreographed dances, did some studying, but mostly travelled throughout India doing everything from volunteering on crocodile sanctuary in Tamil Nadu to staying in Varanasi for a month.

PHILOSOPHY

It's easier to choose to be positive in life, everything good starts from your intention for it to be so.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelling for me is about staying in a place long enough to engage with it, not just passing through. When I return to the UK I want to receive people and share my local culture.
