Overview
About Me
Having just finished a masters in human rights law, I'm currently living in West Yorkshire after a long period of travelling and living in different places, and trying to keep some adventure in my life while I'm on the job hunt! I live with my husband, who has a weird work pattern so he may or may not be around at any given time.
I've merged together our travelling experiences and languages for the profile (eg. I speak French, Lucas speaks German).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When at home we enjoy hosting travellers from all over the world and getting to know new people - it brings a bit of interest to our lives, and we find it's often a good excuse for a drink and some good conversation!
When travelling we like to stay with locals so we can gain more of an insight into the place we're staying, and to experience things we might not have otherwise.
Interests
Cooking, music (Isla plays piano), console gaming, DnD, snowboarding, rock climbing, hillwalking, politics, dancing: long-time ceilidh (traditional Scottish) dancing fans but now branching out and taking lessons in different styles
