ABOUT ME

I have moved to the city centre now, the castle is a stones throw away from my window!
I can't offer a lot at mo, so read on about the couch.
I am very friendly, aim to please, make you laugh, so so easy to get on with. I play guitar and sing, and spend a lot of time having fun and doing what I want to do and not worrying about what others think. I care about the world, I believe you should be the change you want to see in the world. For that reason I am assertive, loving - honest, upfront and thoughtful. I have achieved my goal if you feel relaxed and yourself in my company.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

not sure what i'm meant to say here...but while i'm here, now that i've done one hosting, i will make a little 'isla's beginners hosting guidelist'
1. walk through your own house as if you were a stranger, and spot the things you want to change. It's quite different having a complete stranger come to visit :-)
2. remember to have clean dry towels - it really helps them.
3. bog roll!
4. check the phone number you have for each other is a working/correct phone number as it is essential when the time to arrive starts to come in case of anyone being held up or problems.
5. make plenty time to be there to recieve them, so you can be as relaxed as possible.
6. enjoy the magic unfold :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have cs'd for two nights, and hosted for four, both were absolutely perfect, and unique to each person involved, I cannot tell you how suprisingly natural and wonderful it feels to meet people this way, and to enjoy free giving of a bed, and taking in this way. The BEST things in life, are free - its so true.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i've swam with the dolphins, i've eaten monkey brains off the coast of orion...
no not really...i'm someone who does not have the confidence to push myself forward...but that doesn't make me boring, i do lots of social events, festivals, groups, music performances...lots of things...

Teach, Learn, Share

i am good at computer art programs...photoshop and illustrator mostly, i am ok at guitar can show lots to someone from none to basic knowledge but can jam with anybody. I can do lots with fabric and sewing, I can make lots of stuff and have lots of arty things at home... I can sing, and help others join in, harmonise, build confidence a little...
I don't need anything in return, everybody brings something just by being themselves.
