Hey Everyone!

I'm from originally from Bangladesh and I'm here in the U.S. for graduate studies in physics. Right now I'm a PhD candidate at Washington State University in Pullman, WA.

I grew up in Bangladesh and also (mostly) Saudi Arabia and I have been living in the U.S. for about 7 years now. I have visited a number of countries, because of which I have a diverse background, I'm open minded, familiar with various cultures, etc.

Besides playing soccer and the guitar, traveling and visiting new places is one my hobbies. Whenever I get a chance I don't miss out on the opportunity to visit a new place, meet new people and make new friends, listen to their stories, get familiar with the culture or local place. Honestly the two main attractions at a new place for me are meeting new people and trying out new food! ;-)

I love adventures and I am always craving for new ones! I have (only) tried skydiving, skiing, parasailing, rafting, jet skiing, horse, elephant, and yak riding. As you can see I still have a lot of things to try!

I have already been to and visited about 25 states so far and I'm looking forward to visiting many more states and later begin my journey of visiting countries around the world.

I am very new to Couchsurfing that explains why I have only a few friends and no references. I hope to get connected fast.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ever since a friend of mine introduced me to Couchsurfing, I realized traveling can be so much easier, cheaper and I also get to meet new people easily. I also get to help out people that need hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Several Amazing things actually: Jumping off an airplane at 14000 feet , taking a ride in a police car (he actually dropped me and a friend of mine to a restaurant!) and taking a cruise to Cairo.
