ABOUT ME

An enthusiastic exploring ENFP, who really loves adventures, exploring the unexplored, travelling and meeting new people from all around the world, and making friendships wherever i go. I was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt and after graduating i went to Riga, Latvia where i have lived for a year and experienced couchsurfing for the first time, mostly hosting people. it is such a great community and an amazing way to make friends from everywhere. Since then i've lived in Egypt again, then Saudi for sometime, and now i am back to latvia, with my latvian wife, waiting for our first child to arrive to this world, yaaaay!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i love getting exposed to different cultures than mine and i enjoy every second of it, and through here, i can easily achieve that, because i can not always be on the move and travel all the time, but instead i can meet travelers from all over the world through this amazing platform.

Interests

I am really interested in upskilling people digitally, and i am lucky enough to be working at udacity, where i can have a major role in doing that, i love sharing my knowledge and empowering people to be better versions of themselves, is it my passion. i also really love being entertaining in general, whether by singing or dancing or just being silly and funny!, i enjoy good company, and i love sharing my ideas and having deep conversations about all sorts of things, especially psychology and the human mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

my favorite genre is rock but i also listen to all kinds of music , and my favorite bands include pink floyd, led zeppelin, deep purple, queen, arctic monkeys , muse, red hot chilli peppers, jimi hendrix, ,eurythmics, bb king, otis redding, james brown, michael jackson, and a whole lotta more. i have tried many times to read books, but i just really cant finish one book!, i have a tendency to start things and not usually finish, jumping from one exciting thing to the other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a road trip through norway and india, and also for the first time running an upskilling program for the unprivileged, public high school students in egypt, teaching over 1000+ the basics of web programming and getting 95% of them to graduate!
