About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the homes of my ancestors.

PHILOSOPHY

That humanity has a decent chance if we can remember to laugh often and try to reflect nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now I'm looking to make friends all over Europe and in the future more of the world. When I have a living space of my own I would love to share it but that is still in the works.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only one and it was pretty great. Stayed with the coolest kids in Galway for a week. It was really what I was hoping for they were welcoming and wanted to show us (my friend and I) around but in a hands off sorta way that made us feel totally at home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy just about every kind of film. In books I enjoy fantasy series like the Wheel of Time or Game of Thrones but I also like historical fiction or even a dry tome about the history of a place, a period, or a person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A friend and I free camped in the Rockies once and the amazing part was how close we came to real wildlife over and over again. Coming over a ridge to find a stampeding heard of elk, finding fresher and fresher bear droppings until we just had to turn around or just watching songbirds forage in a bush by the river.

Teach, Learn, Share

I spew historical facts and my thoughts on there practical application from time to time. I also can fill in the blanks on a lot of questions about where things are and what's happening there. I am an amateur baker and gardener. If you want a fresh loaf of bread or a hand in the garden while discussing permaculture I'd love to help and learn more while we're at it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Baking, carpentry, cooking, conversation, cleaning and furniture moving are all things I have some to lots of experience in and am more than willing to do if asked.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Croatia, England, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In
