About Me
Hello beautiful people! Gruß euch!
My name is Ismael, I'm 30 y/o and I'm mexican.
I've lived 4 and a half years in Berlin, Germany and thus, I have traveled a lot. I find it fascinating how people born, raised and educated in other parts of the world understand the world and approach life in such a different way than I do.
I love to listen and exchange stories, opinions, share a laugh, cook together, thoughts, dreams, anecdotes, etc.
I like to do sports in general to stay fit, I meditate to stay focused and calmed, I cook to relax (and get a tasty meal ofc), I make music for expressing my creativity and I visit museums and exhibitions to learn.
Im looking forward to meet amazing and interessant people to share a small part of our life experience. I'm very open (and proud) to cook and share my Mexican cuisine skills (with meat, vegetarian and vegan).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I moved to Germany, I have learned a lot from German and European culture. Living here has given me a different perspective on life in general. Then, I realized that traveling and let yourself be guided by a person who lives in your destination is more insightful than taking a standard hostel tour. It is more human, more warm hearted, you share and experience the visit in a different way, you learn first hand from someone experiencing everyday life in that place. And that experience, is priceless.

The volcano in the sigh from my hometown in mx, the city ruins in Rome, the inner city and multicutural architecture of Tallinn, the little India district in Singapore, the huge golden Buddha in batu caves, Malaysia, the familiar (similar to Mexico) but yet exotic cities and markets of Thailand and Vietnam.
