Overview
About Me
I come from a mixed familie of Country-miner french-canadian folks and first generation Haitians immigrants. I grew up in and around Montréal but travelled a lot with my parents until taking the road by myself after a fruitless attempt to a sedentary life-style.
I like wildernest and nature, while I still enjoy a little trip to an interesting neighbourhood in a big city. I like discovering DIY spaces and found myself more comfortable in ''underground culture''. I'm about Punk rock music, bluegrass, blues, ragtime, and other similar genre but keep an open mind! (Also enjoy going to shows).
Crossed Canada a couple times, twice hitchicking, mostly to go fruit-picking in the west (okanagan valley, kootenays).
Traveled across the USA many times, from Washington State to California, crossing the desert and the swamp to Louisiana, jumping to Florida and ending up in Vermont, and the way around.
Did some ''humanitarian help'' in the southern island of Chile wich is Puluqui.
Went visiting Haïti multiple times and saw a bit of France and Switzerland.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looks like a good place to find locals to introduce me to the inner-culture of the places I visit. I support this alternative to the usual hostels wich can end up cold and out of the tune with the local communitys... I'm new to this medium and hope to be happily surprised! (also, it's cold as shit where I am right now!)
