Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because it is a completely different way of travelling. Rather than staying at a hotel and visiting the most famous parts of a place, I prefer staying at a local's house, eat local meals, discover unexpected places, a part from the famous ones, and truly get to know the culture. I don't conceive travelling without connecting with the people form that place.
