Hello, my name is Ismail Ozturk. I am from Turkey. I have finished my Bachelor Degree Geomatic Engineering at İstanbul Yıldız Technical University in 2013. During my bachelor education I had chance to be a part of exchange program called Erasmus. I traveled around Europe and completed 1 semester at Hamburg Hafencity University in 2012. Furthermore, as a summer job I took a part in a program called Work&Travel and had the best opportunity in my life I have been to United States for 4 months and I worked for a company called Carnival Ice Cream as a ice cream seller by a old and big truck :) and traveled several cities in The US. Now, I am studying Master of Science Geoinformation & Remote Sensing and currently in the exchange program Erasmus again at Technical University of Munich.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because, its the cheapest way to find accommodation. I actually prefer camping for accommodation but in some metropole cities it doesn' t seem possible.

Interests

playing guitar, reading, travelling, camping, discussing current subject national or international on politics, cultural, economic and so on... music is part of my life and im totally addicted some specific youtube channels (currently around 100), american movies & tv-series and of course japanese anime (One piece ;) )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in NY Long Island for summer job. I was too angry with my friend while I was taking the road by bicycle to place where I left my wallet and my phone. While I was riding across the street, some local guys in the car without any reason started to swear and make noise. Then, I did sth that I had better to not :) showed them my middle finger. In some how they catched me (Approached me by their car) and throwed some coins and I turned back, so did they. They were after me again, I stopped, left my bicycle next to a car in front of a house and jumped into the garden and passed to the next garden..... ( I am gonna continue )
