ABOUT ME

My name is Ismena, I come from Poland. I'm a German philology student who's educated as German teacher, I've been studying to be a German translator as well.
I love travelling, sightseeing and meeting new people - it is alsways a great experience to have friends from all over the world and to learn about their cultures and lifestyles!
Something special about me: I'm fascinated about Finland, I want to live in Helsinki in the future - it's my biggest dream, this beautiful city is like a paradise, I'm crazy about it; I also surfed a week in Finland in 2013 and I'll definitely do it again :)
I'm a friendly, talkative and sociable person, I'm helpful and reliable too. I can't live without music; I love going to music festivals and concerts - I'm always ready to do it! I enjoy eating local food, I'm also willing to share a drink in a bar, I like talking about various topics.
Life is too short to get bored, so let's get to know nice people and amazing places! :)

I love Finnish band called HIM; I adore Placebo, Hurts, Depeche Mode; I like rock and alternative music in general, also electro and house;
I like poetry very much; I love Harry Potter series (both the books and movies);
I like drama and psychological films, also good comedies;
The actors I really admire: Edward Norton, Johnny Depp;

I can teach you Polish language and German as well.
I want to speak Finnish, so if you can teach me this fascinating language I'm in! ;)
