About Me

I'm an Australian who has been living and studying in Canada for the last four months and am now free to travel! I've only had the chance to Couchsurf twice before, in Morocco and Vienna (both incredible) and that was years ago, so i'm very excited to get into it again.
My home town is Adelaide, in South Australia.... a beautiful, dry, warm State that most travelers skip when in Aus because Adelaide itself is small- which is such a shame because it has so many treasures to discover.
This most recent stint of living away has deepened my appreciation for home, and also re enforced my interest and love of cities/areas that may not be at the forefront of the 'beaten track' of travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing to be able to learn anything from other people- to discover new music, interests, books, share experiences, food, conversation and anything you'd like to share with me!

Interests

Music, reading, activities, thoughtful design, social and environmental sustainability, gin, wine, tea, camping, being outside!

Music, Movies, and Books

Open to most kinds of music.... from Fleetwood mac, Paul Simon, Rolling Stones to Bonobo, Ratatat, the Knife.... the Inkspots, Folk and Trad music... instrumentals.... always keen to grow the collection!
Robin Hobb is a genius writer! I read Fiction mostly, I'm starting to appreciate certain non fiction also, all depends on my headspace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many! Camped out in the Moroccan Sahara near the Algerian Border, Zip lined for two incredible days in Laos, set up a life in N. Ireland when I was 19.... lucky to experience remote communities in the APY lands in Australia.... I'm blessed to have been given the life I have.

What I Can Share with Hosts

terrible humor, 'resourceful' cooking, extreme enjoyment for endless cups of tea... or gin... any knowledge I have from places I've been.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cambodia, Canada, England, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Morocco, Myanmar, Portugal, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
