long time no couchsurfing! mostly I've used warmshowers for surfing/hosting as I'm typically travelling by bicycle.

I'm originally from the UK and have spent the last few years in Australia, working in forestry, resources, agriculture... I recently moved to BC Canada and am stoked to see more of North America. I work FIFO as a geophysics tech so I have lots of time between projects to explore

I'd like to keep couchsurfing alive, as sometimes I find myself moving through towns like a ghost, without any idea of what the place is. All things are more fun with company, and I want to centre human connection in my life. I'm happy to hang with anyone, anywhere and am pretty low maintenance :)
