Currently a masters student at Oxford. I'm an open-minded and curious young man with a big brain, because most of the things I do have something to do with learning; I take interest in all kinds of stuff that others in my society usually don't appreciate, including my greatest passions, music and languages!! Following my heart and dreams is why some people regard me as a weirdo or 'special'.

Deep inside I really like to socialise and make friends. Especially international ones, as I'm open-minded and love to bring new perspectives into my personality.

In living my life I usually prefer to be spontaneous and unexpected.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

It was when I began to take language learning seriously that I discovered my passion for cultures and people. When I was in Vienna I joined several events and meetups, where I really enjoyed meeting new people. At the same time I started to dislike hotels as that's not what travelling really is, to me. That's how I ended up on CS! I truly believe it's the BEST way to learn about local life, culture and values, which is so much more than seeing sights. I hope you will offer this opportunity to see the authentic city.

Intereses

I've always said my interests lie in "creating":
I make music with the piano, violin and my pen,
while I also used to write computer programs/apps and stories/novels.
As a new-found interest a couple of years ago, I devote most of my spare time to learning languages.
I've tried my hand at several European ones and I look forward to taking them to the next level.
I actually love playing table tennis, but I simply hate sweating so I usually lack the motivation to do sports except when I'm together with several friends...

The more I grow up, the more I think about our lives and lifestyles that we take for granted. What if there's something 'natural' to us that is weird to other societies? I'm ready to be wowed as well!

I'm an old-school musician: I like Poulenc and Shostakovich.

I've grown up with fantasies like Harry Potter and Narnia and still love them as hell.

Movies are one of my newer interests...I'm mostly into superheroes and mainstream blockbusters, same for TV. I don't have enough time to watch everything I want though. I'm too addicted to YouTube.

I learn languages, whatever they are. I could try teaching my native Cantonese or Mandarin.
And all instrumentalists can discuss music with me! I play the piano, organ, and violin.
