About Me

**Currently I’m in Bangkok, not in Tokyo.

[ABOUT ME]
Hello there, This is Issei:))
I’m from Tokyo, Japan (actually I’ve been living here for 25 years). Currently I’m working for development bank and I’m in the department of city development of other countries. Last year, graduated grad school where I studied Oceanography. Ask me anything about phytoplankton and eutrophication! Before Covid-19 I studied abroad in Victoria, Canada. Still hoping to live in the beautiful city one day.
Since I’m living with my parents, I’m not sure if I can host you, but text me anyway. We can just go hangout even if I can’t host you.
See you around!

[PHILOSOPHY]
I want to visit all over the world and meet many kind of people, so I can feel a lot of emotion. What I want to do through my life is “experience everything and have matured soul”.

[NEXT DESTINATION]
* London- Amsterdam-Paris-Berlin
* Bangkok, Thailand
* Victoria, Canada

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way to know the local life style abusolutely! It's way better than staying at hostels and just walking around the touristy cities alone. To know a lot of people will enhance the quality of my life.

Interests

I love the ocean a lot, that’s the reason why I majored in Oceanography. When I was in university, I scuba dived more than 70 times. The best dive was with giant kelp in La Jolla, California.
Also I love pub crawling. If you want to go nice and old coffee, bar and restaurant just let me know.
And I love Music as well. I have more than 400 of LPs in my room. Let’s go Vinyl Hunting together:))
I love taking pictures too. I have Twin-lens reflex camera (Mamiya C33) and Rollie 35.
