About Me

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile; I would consider myself an open individual, seeking to learn anything from every opportunity and/or challenge placed in front of me. I love to meet new people and discover new and different places hence why I have taken the time to immerse myself in a year of travel filled with both work and volunteering throughout Europe and (hopefully) Asia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After being referred this by a friend I jumped at the opportunity to meet new people. I love the idea of experiencing a new culture and environment through the life of a local and look forward to experiencing such through Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I would like to consider myself open to all types of music but have so many more genres to discover; an active record collector I love music from progressive rock through to Jazz and Blues. I don't have a specific genre of movie I enjoy the most, rather I love to be recommended movies and books to discover. One flew over the Cuckoo's nest would forever be a favourite of mine.
The black keys, the Beatles, vulpeck, James brown, red hot chilli peppers, Nina Simone, Etta James, the velvet underground, Janis Joplin, foo fighters, dope lemon, vilhelm Brandt, Elliot smith, fat Freddys drop, Kendrick Lamar, the hives, the libertines, catfish and the bottlemen, Chet faker, gerd, Amy Winehouse...okay theres a lot! One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deviating from the path; although young, choosing this route of travel has posed many challenges. I lived in Paris for four months last year which was such an incredible experience, working for a family as a nanny and being able to influence two young children and see them grow as individuals would be one of the many amazing things I have done in my life and I look forward to many more in the years to come.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a fair few stories to share however am always looking for the opportunity to learn something new; be that a life lesson or even a recipe for a good, homecooked stew.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope to share a friendly, relaxed experience with hosts; exchanging ideas and stories.
