ABOUT ME

Speaking about myself is not one of my favourite sports. But I am sure you could learn something from my references. Each of the couchsurfers (either CS friends or travelers) who left a reference, describe different aspects of myself.
I may not say it while we spend time together, but your opinion really counts for me.

The only thing I can tell for sure is that by talking to people and doing things together, you get a small taste of their country. It makes you willing to go there, which is part of the CS "feelings".

PHILOSOPHY

All we are saying, is give people love.

Love is something you should share. So, do not keep it for yourself before it is too late.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosting people since I joined the community.
But finally I made my first CS trip as well :)
Both hosting and traveling are needed for a complete CS experience.

CS meetings are not so often where I live. Nevertheless I do not hesitate giving tips and share information about a variety of events through group posts when needed.

Trying to intoduce CS to friends and defeat their hesitation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experience is growing bigger and bigger.
At this point I must admit that I love it :D

Most of my experiences were really good, some others were even better.

Interests

Foooooooooooooooood!!! Certainly food. Eating is one of my best activities :D

I like sports in general. Mostly Sailing, Basketball and Football [the one called also as soccer in some regions of the planet ;)]. I also play some Greek traditional music (santouri).
I recentrly started playing touch rugby. Really fun :)

My favourite music is classic rock, but lately I am listening to some dubstep and drum 'n' bass music. Please do not make me listen to this Greek Dog style music :S

Red Cross First Aid Helper (volunteer): As long as people exist and wherever in need :D

Football Referee: Mixed feelings about this...but I am really addicted to it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Clockwork Orange, American History X, The man with the carnation, Waltzh with Bashir and of course LoTR and Star Wars

Documentaries: To shoot an elephant

Music: I do not stick just to one kind of music, but Classic Rock (Pink Floyd) is my favourite. Furthemore I enjoy also a variety of other kinds of music (Dubstep, DnB, Disco, Progressive Rock). I should mention also that Bregovic is another artist I distinguish.

Books: The Eight (Neville), The Lost Army (Manfredi), The Swarm (Schatzing)

Teach, Learn, Share

I could show to you some basic things about sailing and football rules. We could play also some santouri (traditional instrument) together if you like.
If you like games I can teach you backgammon too :)

Is it all Greek to you? It would be my pleasure teaching you some Greek.

One of the things I would like to do right now is practice free diving.
What about teaching me some nice tips in Poker (Texas)?

I will most certainly ask you to share some gestures from your place of origin. So...be ware!!!

Speaking about games...what about some tichu (majong)? :D Big fun of tichu :$
