I'm Isthar, yeah the correct transliteration from the Assyrian is Ishtar but someone at the registration office didn't like it so that's it. And yeah, it's a female divinity but my parents' book says differently so again, here I am.
I have a life beyond my name, probably only a bit less funny. I study architecture, but at the same time I love nature and living outside. I'm trying to have an ecological footprint as small as possible in everything I do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling, knowing people and understanding places. I study architecture so I kind of understand buildings but yet they don't speak, so I prefer having someone showing around.

Music, Movies, and Books

I must admit that I'm pretty ignorant about music, please don't hate on me. I probably can talk a little more about movies, I'm always down for a good indie one, no matter the language. But for the favourite one I'll have to go for The Truman Show, it could be only because I watched it when I was little and it simply stuck with me. I'm on a mission to read as many classics books as possible, they always find a way to amaze me and I love that. Unfortunately, or not, architecture books are getting in the way every day more often than the one before.

As an Italian, and someone who come from the Prosecco hills I don't drink neither coffe or alcohol but I can still prepare a delicious tiramisù: classic, fruits variations and a vegan option too. I can also cook other salty Italian dishes. Otherwise I can try your best speciality and say congrats for your amazing cooking skills.
