Love travelling, friends, reading, hiking, swimming, partying, sleeping, TV, music, film, cities, beaches, cool people, my family, universities, the internet, gadgets, skiing, coffee and pretty things.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to balance planning with spontaneity. I like to know what I'll be doing in the next year or so - anything beyond that I prefer to keep a surprise

Besides travelling and seeing the world... My main interest personally and academically is religion as a phenomenon, religious differences and philosophies. I always found them fascinating and ended up studying them - whithout being religious myself.

Movies: Pretty much anything by Wong Kar-Wai, David Lynch and Stanley Kubrick.
Music: Mostly rock, pop and classical. At the moment listening a lot to Muse, Mew, Royksopp and Badly Drawn Boy.
Books: I love novels, e.g. Yukiyo Mishima: The Temple of the Golden Pavillion, Don DeLillo: White Noise, Oscar Wilde: The Picture of Dorian Gray, Franz Kafka: The Castle, Honore de Balzac: Lost Illusions, Marcel Proust: Swann's Way - and to top it off I'm a Harry Potter addict
