About Me
Halihooo!
My name is István but for almost my whole life my friends have been callling me Hézi and I guess it became part of my identity.
I'm from a small town in Hungary called Kiskőrös where I lived with my family until I was 13. Now I live in Budapest with two of my friends who are studying and working as well.
I have lived half a year in Sacramento and half a year in Sao Paulo as well. Always getting to know the new things, cultures, people.
It sounds cliché but I'm really interested in nearly everything although I don't like unnecessary bullshit and pointless stuff. I love travelling, meeting different cultures around the world, getting to know new people and their views on the world or life because in my opinion everyone has something unique in themselves and has their own background and story. Also I love to see beauty as places in cities or natural views as well as art, music, sports, people's inside.
I'm always open to new experiences and that's why with my friends we love to carry out our random, crazy and spontaneous ideas.
One of my basic thoughts on life is that we can't let fear and discomfort lead our life so I like to challenge myself.
I used to play football for 15 years as a goalkeeper for a youth team competing in the 1st league in Hungary.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would really like to meet a lot of new people from all around different nations and I think this site makes it perfectly possible to connect. Also I merely got enough capital for food and the long walk so i need some great people who can help me out so we could have a really great time.

I love the feeling when i have to think not only because of the plot but the moral values of the core concept and also the characters soo here they are... oh yeah i also like action and laughing :D
Matrix, Interstellar, Arcer, Breaking Bad, Rick and Morty, Game of Thrones, Suits, Black mirror, Lord of the rings
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having fear of heights I said I don't care and at the age of 15 I jumped out of a plane from 4000m in Austria experiencing one of the most extraordinary feelings in my life. The same fear drove me 2-3 years later to try bungee jumping.
I am afraid of many things as well but the feeling of me being in control of my life guides me through challenges like the uncertainty of the tour I'm doing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's get to know each other and we will find out. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well i dont really have money for extra expenses but if we pay 50-50 i'm happy to help cook us something (i cant cook just hope my host-to-be can :D). Also i'm always in for a good conversation about anything, can tell funny stories and I can teach traditional Hungarian card games.
I would also like to drink a couple of beers (or "worst" case scenario have a party) with my hosts.
