About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world for three months.

ABOUT ME

Just finishing working at John Deere. I designed Wheeled Forestry Equipment. I find myself a hard worker, always looking for a new challenge, and up for new adventures. I want to experience everything at once, which draws me to the conclusion that time is my only enemy.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't be afraid to try new things, because you'll get made fun of or you think you'll suck at it. Not everyone is going to be a prodigy. love experiences because it's something you've never experienced before. There is excitement in the unknown.

You never get anywhere in life if you only work on the days you feel good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed in Alaska before working in a salmon cannery.

I've hosted some surfers in Dubuque Iowa.

I plan to surf all over Europe with my girlfriend and take in all that Couchsurfing has to offer

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed in Alaska for two weeks prior to working in a salmon cannery. This was a great first experience.

While I lived in dubuque I've hosted two pairs of individuals as they made their journey's across the U.S. It was interesting to host, which was a new experience for me, but worth it to see the surfing experience from the other side.

Interests

I've recently have dove head-long into playing guitar. It's like when you reach that point in a skill where you think about it all the time. All other activities seem like they just pass the time until you get back to that one you love above all others.

During the winter seasons I really love to go snowboarding. Nothing beats a day on the slopes with friends, fun, and a little evening hottub drinking!

I'm getting more and more interested in programming, and would like to learn Java, for starters, which I hope will slowly transition into a higher level. Just seems like something I need to know.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read anything form fantasy, biographies, non-fiction. I have a habit of getting into a hobby and devoting all my time to it; which, in my mind, requires a lot of studying. Currently it's stock market investing & Programming.

Music, ... underground hip hop, RHCP, classic Rock, let the LED OUT. Rolling Stones. ... all and anything. I'll take some country from time to time, ... someone say a little classical. It all depends on the mood I'm in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

head down to mexico with 9 of my best friends for a whole week of drunking stumbling and forgetfulness. Forever stuck in my head as the best week ever.

Went to vegas with some friends and realized it's the best city i've ever been too but i can't ever stay too long.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't consider myself a dumb person.

I do know, that if I don't know, I can know.

Countries I’ve Visited

Mexico, Portugal, Spain, United States
