Hi everyone, I'm Enrico, what to say about me.. i grew up in Italy, in little town 80km far from Venice, then I moved to Padua (IT) for my taking bachelor degree. Since 2015 I live around Amsterdam's (NL) area where I enjoy long bike rides through this wonderful city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed once and a new vision of the world born in me... i started to think how to share more in my life... Regarding CS I currently accept guests just after considering the specific request/profile, CS is not a synonym of "travel for free"!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've joined CS quite some time ago... at that time, my English teacher told me about this type of sharing so I just created a profile but never used it for a while (very bad)... in 2012's summer I tried to find a host in Germany, after that I started using CS more ofter, mainly for hosting people... its an incredible experience I suggest this to everyone all the time.

WHY I DON'T VERIFY MY ACCOUNT ON CS
This community was born as a free project and I think it should stay like that. Since couchsurfing.org is now controlled by a commercial company they of course try to monetise in some way. However, I find paying €18/year for a verified account a bit counterintuitive. Users should gain their own reputation by hosting and getting hosted. That's how it used to be...

Interests

Computer Science is a constant since i was young, I started pressing random buttons on a black-green screen DOS Computer like 386 or 486 I don't know exactly...

Although my spare time is often limited, I enjoy taking pictures with my reflex camera... It's been a while I want try to set up a blog/site as showcase for my pics but it's quite a bit of burden.. any help is appreciated :)
