Overview
About Me
Itamar, 23.
I live in a small town in Israel which is named Hod HaSharon, with approximately 50,000 citizens.
Finished my three years service in the IDF (Israeli army) as a QA Engineer, and worked another year as a software tester in a small Hi-Tech company which develops predictive software (recently established a new branch in San Francisco).
I have a dog whose name is Niko. He is a 4 years old beagle and my favorite creature in the whole world.
Traveling in USA since mid January. Have already been in Los Angeles -> San Francisco -> Hawaii (Ohau, Molokai, Maui) and that's about it.
After going back to Israel on July, I will move to Jerusalem in order to begin my bachelor's degree in Biology, on my way to become a veterinarian one day (takes about total six years of study).
New to Couchsurfing. Didn't have the chance to host surfers yet, but I will be very happy to do that after coming back to Israel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The biggest cliche is the truth - I would like to listen to your stories, and tell you stories about my journeys. I can teach a little bit about the Israeli politics (Will turn you into a pessimist), and would love to hear about how the political system works in your country.
Interests
Really love reading books, see good movies. Used to train in the gym but that stopped when I started to study to the Psychometric test (equivalent to the GMAT/SAT).
A little bit basketball & tennis, but mostly books. And also history & reading articles about politics (Israeli & American).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Raised two dogs.
Besides that, did a crazy bungee jump from a very tall bridge in South Africa, and also a skydiving in Israel. But the Bungee felt much crazier.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know.
I'd love to tell you stories about the life in Israel as much as you would love to hear. I am super curious to hear stories about the life in your country. I love talking about History, politics (promise not to argue even if we think differently) and sports (NBA, Real Madrid football club, or just talking about how amazing is Roger Federer).
