My girlfriend and I are currently travelling in Asia for 4 months! Exploring new places and cultures and of course looking mostly to meet nice and interesting people!

ABOUT ME

Im 30, half Dutch half Israeli living, working and studying clinical psychology in Amsterdam!
My girlfriend Sofia (German) is 28 and also studies Psychology like myself in Amsterdam.
We are happy people very energetic, warm, and can listen good to other people, we have many ideas and opinions to share!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In the past I used to host many CSurfers in my house, and it doesn't stop amazing me how much fun it is ! I am a big believer in this type of travelling and hosting well is one of my main values!
I travelled in Europe for a few month and had an amazing CS excperience!
I also travelled half a year in Asia in 2015 and I went on CS there and I an amazing time!
Other people hosted me a few times, they where all great and interresting people! Its amazing, because it really works! and its a great way to learn about cultures, and countries!

Since moving to Amsterdam from Tel Aviv it’s is harder for me to host because of my living situation, so unfortunately I didn’t host anyone for very long, but I am happy to be more active in the CS community again!

Interests

We are both very much into meditation. We meditate (almost) every day and do some breathing exercises.
We really like to go to the cinema and to museums. It’s probably are favourite activity!
I am a big big football fan, mostly English football.
I really live Hiking in the mountains and i do it allot. Especially abroad...

Both Sofia and I do Yoga and many other sports.
Music - all kinds of music : Radiohead,Arctic Monkeys,Gramatik, Souleance,Bonobo,Thievery Corporation,Empire of the Sun, Amy Winehouse, Nicolas Jaar,Beatles,Pink Floyd, and lots of Classical Music as well!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I travelled in Europe I did a Hitch-hiking/Lifting journey from Netherlands to Berlin trough all Germany, and it was in January so was quite tough! But it was amazing!

I did the Everest bace camp track in Nepal,and it was the most beautifull place i saw in my life, nature at its best!

When I was 18, I volunteered one year in a school of youth at high risk in Jerusalem.
I met very interresting kids with hard stories.
When I was 19 I worked at a farm in the Italian alps, it was an agriculture and horse farm with amazing people!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Me and Sofia my girlfriend are really into cooking. I know how to cook any type of Israeli food such as Shakshuka, Humus, Israeli Salad and much more! And Sofia knows to cook Italian food as her mother is an Italian chef.

At least five cool and interresting stories to tell! stories you never heard in your life before, I swear...
I have good experience in camping and living in the nature and I will be happy to teach everything about it.
I can teach very good the art of working with wood. Wood turning and much more.
