ABOUT ME

hi
my name is itay (26) and i'm from the northern part of israel.
I grow up in a "kibuts" (commune) and after high school I did one year of social service. At 19 I was recruited to the army for 3 years (compulsory) and when I got out i lived in a kibuts with my friends for 10 months. Since June 2012 I'm traveling. I was in parts of Asia, New Zealand, Australia and Japan. when i come back home i worked in the south of Israel in Kibuts Yotvata.
now i study in Hifa.
I hope to meet interesting people and learn from them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm open minded and like to learn new things or hear other opinions then main. Essay going and maybe too polite when I meet new people but I will open up when it feels right.
I don't think I can really write how I am so you'll have to see for yourself :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had only good experiences !
I used CS in Singapore, New Zealand and japan. it was great.
I'm looking forward to host now when I'm back home :)

Interests

I like trekking, camping, diving, movies, books and other things...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: fight club, forest gump, lord of war.
Music: depend on the mood. I like reggae :) and Israeli music.
Books: 1989, shogun, dune, gates or fire, lord of the fly, catcher in the ray.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

cold water on your feet on a hot day (45 c) is one of the beast things you can do.
(i'm easy to please)

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach you some Hebrew or about my country's history, culture, food, conflicts...
i know some origami.

Or we can go camping !
