About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make new friends wherever I go!
ABOUT ME
I'm an engineering graduate and musician (bass guitar: Expert, piano and guitar: Intermediate) who also has a thing for languages. Spent 15 months total living and studying abroad in Aachen, Germany and Lausanne, Switzerland.
No drama, I'm really easy to please: Bed, Couch, or Floor I'm not going to be picky.
I spent 6 months living in Bangalore, India for my first job out of college now based in Chicago...and now living in Shenzhen, China!
PHILOSOPHY
Try to understand the world the best you can, but always be able to zoom out and embrace a level of mystery.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've mostly surfed around Europe but would love to host in the future when I have a place to myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Backpacked with a group across Europe in 2009, stayed at other people's houses, apartments. In fact, a guy in Munich first introduced me to "Couchsurfing"-the website. Since I was already pretty much doing it, I figured joining Couchsurfing.org just makes sense.
I've mostly couchsurfed at friends places and I'd like to make some more friends through couchsurfing around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a fan of some Electronic music (house, vocal trance), indie, blues, jazz. If you want to jam, I do too!
I love Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes". Music must be good, musically and lyrically. A few more: Love tropical house music as a genre. Robin Schulz, Kygo, Troye Sivan.
Fan of the "Colbert Report" back when that was on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived, studied, and saw Europe for 15th months.
Here's a special one: Riding with 5,000 other cyclists down the Champs-Élysées just hours before the 100th Tour de France.
Climbing a mountain overlooking Lake Geneva, just outside of Montreux, Switzerland.
Seeing the sunset from a Bell-Epoque era boat during an Erasmus party on Lake Geneva, it was windy but beautiful.
Lived and worked in Bangalore, India for 6 months, travelling a lot in the meantime.
Teach, Learn, Share
English is my first language, and French is becoming a close second. I like helping others with their English.
Also, math/physics, cycling, and music.
