About Me
CURRENT MISSION
flying leaps of wild abandon towards the unknown
ABOUT ME
I am nothing if not the owner of my experience; I smile because I like to see others return the favor, I skip and dance because I like the way it feels on the souls of my feet, I am always moving towards center even when I am not. I love to search for, find and foster a connection between myself and others as much as I like to be alone and deepen my friendship with me. My world pulses with wonder and curiosity, fearlessness and adventure. Let's run and play and climb on things.
On a more grounded note:
I work as a wilderness guide in, around, and about Utah. The outdoors is an incredibly therapeutic space for me, no where else do I feel so regularly overwhelmed with gratitude.
PHILOSOPHY
Say yes, stay positive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A true mover-and-shaker. I signed up while abroad and haven't been in one place long enough (and with suitable furniture) to return the favors of so many amazing people who have opened their spaces, no matter how humble, to me. Some day.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Incredible. A traveler loves a traveler, I've found.
I have done most of my couchsurfing in Africa. It is really special how different cultures manifest this crazy-beautiful idea, I've found it is a great glimpse into the country as a whole.
Interests
climbing, hiking, biking, eating, walking, laughing, barefootedness, climbing some more, dancing like an Amazon on acid, listening, playing, yogaing, reading.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am an avid reader, always always looking for good titles and authors. There is no greater gift than to introduce someone to an artist of any medium that has touched your life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My goodness, there is just too much...
If you ever get a chance to watch the sun set over the sand dunes of Timbuktu, that's pretty special.
Teach, Learn, Share
