Hello, I’m Hito. I currently live on Changzhou Island in Guangzhou, and I grew up on an island as well. I’m a senior college student, but I’m also a young entrepreneur. I’m working on creating interesting activities with my peers to make our environment more engaging and meaningful. I plan to turn my home into a semi-open space where more people in need can make use of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to hear more stories about freedom, stories that inspire me to act on impulse and remind myself that I don’t have to be confined by my current environment—I can always choose to change it. I also want to meet new friends who have grown up in different contexts and cultures, and at the same time, take the opportunity to practice my English.

Interests

I enjoy writing in my journal, basking in the sun, taking walks with others, or simply lounging on the couch. I used to love wandering around with a camera and taking photos, and I’m thinking of picking up that hobby again. Right now, self-exploration is my greatest source of joy.
