About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Feel the Love in Living Life to the Fullest

ABOUT ME

Over the years I've whittled my belongings down to a motorcycle and a few random pieces of sporting goods scattered across the country. Have a house in Saint Louis, but rarely go there because I like traveling to much! It could be said I live in Austin because I've got a place here on town lake and a few sources of miscellaneous income However I'm moving to NZ! Really I like people and travel and just about any decent or better experience that comes along with bringing it all together.

Update. Now living in a beautiful van named she! Collected a few more belongings and yes there is a couch for you to crash on. ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Live, Love, Learn.

My mantra is Be a Vessel of Joy, Peace and Happiness. :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From meet ups to camp outs, beer and wine tours and anything in between. I've enjoyed hosting and surfing alike. When traveling it's one of my favorite ways of making personal connections and experiencing the local culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A new chapter in the Saga seems to be unfolding. I got involved in CS a few years back after moving to one of my favorite homes in Colorado where my roommates and I really enjoyed hosting folk from around the world. Since then I have had the pleasure of tent, cabin and couch surfing around the US up into Canada and Alaska. I'm moving to New Zealand in a month! I can't wait I'm nervous and excited all at once. This will be my first overseas travel! :D

Interests

Biking, hiking, rock climbing, water sports, anything I can access in the back country. I teach yoga and massage. In the past I have had fun putting on wine tastings and dinners. Always down to learn and try new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ha reading a fun one now. Taming of the Crew Authored by a friend of mines father about their first open water sailing experience from NZ to Tonga and beyond. It's changing me and I like it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A week long canoeing/caving/climbing excursion with my cousin along the Current and Buffalo Rivers along the MO and AR borders. Amazing experience for sure. We finished off with a 17 hr climbing epic starting at midnight under a full moon. After the sun came up we had a falcon soaring circling and calling while it kept watch over the group. Beautiful!!!

100 miles in a sea kayak along the Baja Sur during migratory season for dolphins and Pilot Whales.

3500 mile motorcycle ride from Denver down to FL and back.

Just back from Alaska where I spent 2.5 months making organic curries, picking berries, playing with bears and singing with eagles!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm told i know a thing or two about wine and massage. Love to go rock climbing, skiing and gosh dern any outdoor activity there is. Always ready to Teach. Learn. Share.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Fiji, India, Mexico, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand
