I am an eternal optimist who wants to see the world. I very much enjoy sitting on rooftops and looking out over the city with good friends and good wine...however, boxed wine often does the trick.

Wow, just one? Attempting to communicate with Italian children at a Waldorf summer camp I worked with in the Ligurian hills. I spoke no Italian, and they very little English. But they were so excited to learn and teach that I was inspired to return.

I am learning quite a bit about urban farming and local food systems, and thus would be happy to teach/learn about urban gardening and anything having to do with food. I love to find creative ways to cook, and have been told that I make a mean vegan sweet potato pie. I am very interested in midwifery and natural healthcare. I am in the process of teaching myself about such things, but any advice would be very helpful.
