About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be productive, have fun (not always in that order)

ABOUT ME

I am an active person, who likes to do things rather than watch things get done. I hate missed opportunities. I'm a huge nerd (check my interests), and an adrenaline junkie(bungie jumping, climbing, skydiving, whitewater kayaking). I like to wear clothing that starts conversations. I will climb almost anything I can get my hands on, which has gotten me in trouble more than once(ask me about construction cranes). I have been told I am an Internet Conquistador, and definitely am an authority on viral videos and the like. I cut my own hair with scissors in front of my bathroom mirror. I scooter almost everywhere on a big oversized Razor scooter. (make fun of me all you want, i get there faster than you and don't have to lock a bike!)

PHILOSOPHY

Do, don't just watch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

hosted a whole lot of people in BCN, met a whole lot of wonderful people surfing through europe and through meetups.

Interests

I can name more Star Wars characters and/or first generation Pokemon than you. I have TED talks and boingboing.net as my home pages. I play rugby for UC San Diego, and have played water polo, lacrosse, and wrestling at some point in the past few years. I spend too much time on the internet. I like cheesy action movies. I adore electronic dance music, mostly electro, progressive house, and nu disco, and attend raves/massives/EDM concerts whenever artists I love are in the area. I appreciate someone who can talk politics and current events, but its not my passion. I try to find a balance in my life between constructive activities that teach me something or advance me towards a goal, and simple fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Zoolander, Drive. Eurodance, Handsup, Progressive House, Electro, U2. Dune by Frank Herbert.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the best possible activity I can think of is jumping off of tall things into deep water. Memories of this at places like Kipu Falls in Hawaii to random bridges in Austin, TX and Stockholm are awesome. Some other great things I've done are hiked Half Dome in Yosemite, drove across America over 21 days with a friend in a red VW Beetle, and rigged a zip line over our pool in the backyard.

Teach, Learn, Share

theres a small arrow next to your gas gauge on most recent cars(newer than ~1990s), that tells you which side of the car the gas tank opening is.
