Hi, my name is Mary (aka Flo), and I was born and bred in Dumaguete, Philippines. I currently live in Red Deer, Alberta with my wonderful husband and adorable pooch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a number of CSers passing through my hometown, and it has been a wonderful experience every time! I also founded the CS group for Dumaguete.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music that I can sing or dance to. I watch comedies and sci-fi movies, and enjoy books by authors like Khaled Hosseini, Jane Austen, Nicholas Sparks, Gabriel Garcia-Marquez, and JRR Tolkien.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was able to explore an underground cave in Okinawa that was used as a makeshift hospital by the Japanese during WWII. It was narrow and pitch black. Thinking about all the people who lost their lives in that place gave me goose bumps.
