About Me
CURRENT MISSION
teach and travel the world!
ABOUT ME
My name is Anna and I'm from Detroit. I'm currently living in Toulouse, France. I am applying for Masters programs. I was previously a primary school language assistant teaching English to cute French children in Toulouse. I studied Art History and I'm making the switch to Strategic/International Management. I love visiting new places and meeting new people. I enjoy going to museums and historical sites in cities, but I also love going on hikes and spending time in beautiful natural areas. I love going out, to bars or out dancing, but I really appreciate a chill evening with good conversation as well. I am friendly, outgoing, compassionate, and open-minded.
PHILOSOPHY
The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am always willing to let friends stay with me during their travels and I try to be as accommodating as possible. When I stay on others' couches, I try to be a gracious guest by being tidy, friendly, and cooking delicious things for them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted many friends at my apartment in Toulouse. In college I lived in a 23 person co-operative and over the 2 years I lived there, we had hosted many friends, travelers, and other students co-opers.
I have stayed at friends places many a time as well and have always tried to leave the place tidier than when I arrived! Always wash my dishes and act respectfully!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled alone with myriad fears and worries and left feeling empowered to accomplish anything! Left with confidence and knowledge that I am an intelligent, independent, and self-sufficient woman who can meet new people, explore new places, and enjoy my own company. Nothing can compare to the feeling I felt sitting on the beach of Barcelona, writing all these thoughts and more in my journal. "Let go or be dragged"
