CURRENT MISSION
To live forever... So far, so good.
ABOUT ME
I attended the University of Iowa and studied Journalism and Mass Communication.
NOW, I work at RuffaloCODY in the Enrollment Management Department located in Cedar Rapids. I write content for promotional pamphlets, websites, emails, among other things, for various colleges and universities.
PHILOSOPHY
Just chilllllllllllllllllllllllllllll. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I traveled around Europe and stayed with MANY couchsurfers. It was a blast and now that I'm back in the states I'm ready to do the hosting!
Now that I am an "adult" (emphasis on the quotation marks...) I can't travel as much, but I still like to get out there and see what I can see. Upcoming trips include NYC and then another trip to DC this summer.
I love to host people. Unless I'm out of town, my couch is all yours!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with people while I was backpacking around Europe. I've hosted a few people here in Iowa City since I've been back and can't wait to host some more.
Interests
Traveling, photography, gym, jogging/running, eating good food, cooking, the internet, social media, etc, etc etc... I'm a Gen-Y'r and am easily distracted by shiny things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies -- Superhero related flicks are the shiz fo sho. Occasionally, I like to watch foreign films without sub-titles in an attempt to make my brain hold on to the last shreds of French and German that are floating around in there.
Music -- Legitimately everything. Not like "Oh, I listen to a little of everything..." that a lot of people say but then they only have one genre of tunage on their iPod. I like all music.
Books -- I like to read about things I can do. Right now, I'm really getting into home-brewing beer. So I've been reading a lot about that. I love to learn and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I like to think I am pretty blessed and have had some really amazing experiences.
1. Backpacked Europe (solo) for 2 months in 2007. It. Was. Awesome.
2. Helped build a house for Habitat for Humanity. It was also awesome.
3. Tried out modeling in Miami for a week. Turned down a contract because I was just curious and wasn't in it for the money... the "amazing" part about it was the look on the staff manager's face when I said, "Eh... I think I am going to pass."
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, United Kingdom
